Information Technology companies in India may have tightened
appraisals of employees working on legacy services and experts working on
US-based projects may be worried about job security, but the outlook for the
sector isn’t all bad.
As per the various news reports in India, the IT sector is
getting back on track after the lockdown of corona virus pandemic. With
technology being the backbone of any business now a days, hiring of IT
professionals have increased many folds in domains such as artificial intelligence
(AI), big data analytics, machine learning and Internet of Things (IoT)
in India. Taking the right move, there are various multinational organizations
in India that have started to hire skilled and fresh professionals in the right
IT Jobs. Although, along with the picked up hiring rates, the IT industry has
started to witness a change in hiring patterns with “unconventional, high-value
techniques companies are looking forward to hire candidates with differential
skills.”

Manager
Analytics, a subarea of statistics, is a rapidly growing field
in the IT industry.
What they do: An analytics manager manages the configuration,
design, implementation and support of the data analysis solution/ business intelligence
tool. This is used to analyze the humongous quantities of information gathered
through transactional activity.
Qualifications needed: Post-secondary education in math,
statistics, business, or a related field. IT skills are paramount as analytics
managers work with complex software programs.

Scientist
A data scientist essentially interprets big data to give
businesses direction for the future. According to a news report, data science is among the
jobs that will be in high demand in the next one-two years.
What they do: It’s said that a data scientist is “someone who is
better at statistics than any software engineer and better at software
engineering than any statistician.” A data scientist gathers huge volumes of
data from multiple internal and external sources, analyses and examines it,
uses programs and methods to use this data for predictive and prescriptive
modeling, and devises data-driven solutions to the most tenacious challenges.
Qualifications: There is no specific course, but a data scientist
is driven by intense curiosity. S/he combines the skills of data hacker,
analyst, communicator and trusted adviser. And yes, s/he can write code.

Computer networks are critical to almost every organization,
which explains the demand for administrators.
What they do: Network and computer systems administrators are
involved with and responsible for the day-to-day operation of computer networks
in an organization. They install, organize and maintain the computer systems,
including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network
segments, intranets, and other data communication systems.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science, in web
technology, network administration or something similar, is needed for this

What they do: Cloud computing involves using a network of remote

cloud.
Qualifications: You’re on the right
cloud computing career path if you offer technical and project management
skills, enterprise architecture knowledge, security and compliance along with
data integration and analysis.

The numbers for programming jobs may be dropping but coding is
the most in-demand skill across industries.
What they do: To put it simply,
coding is telling a computer what you want it to do by typing in step-by-step
commands for it to follow. Computers are obedient and super-efficient coders
can get them to do whatever they want. With every program, app and website
relying on code to operate, coders are the builders and architects and builders
of the digital age.
Qualifications: It’s essential to know programming languages with
broad applicability. Other skills include SQL, Java, Javascript, Linux, XML,
C++, C#, Python and .NET.

User Experience Designer
This hot IT job was ranked 14th in CNN’s top 100 jobs list. The
number of positions is likely to rise by 18% over the next 10 years.
What they do: A user experience designer, be it UX, UXD, UED or XD,
is the go-to person for enhancing user satisfaction with a product. S/he helps
improve the usability, accessibility and pleasure provided in the interaction
with the product. This person works with traditional human–computer interaction
(HCI) design while addressing all aspects of a product/service as perceived by
users.
Qualifications: Relentless interest in problem solving and skills
such as agile and lean UX, rapid prototyping, responsive design, crowd-sourced
and user-centered design, and business acumen.
