Position 2:Group: CADProject: C179055CAD Designer (JA 0024) – CAD Designer - BIW Body/ ClosuresNo of positions – 2JD:Qualification BEExperience 6+* Proficient in CATIA V5 (GSD/Sheet metal/Part/Assembly/Drawing Workbench). * Working knowledge of Teamcenter and Vismockup * Good knowledge of Body and Closure design * Understanding of product requirements and Closures features: * Structures – Hoods, Doors, Tailgate with knowledge of hinges and kinematic requirements * Seals – Dynamic Sealing, Glass Runs, Finishers * Mechanisms – Handles, Latches, Actuators, Regulators * A strong understanding of the 1st principle physics of a closures system – the loads, forces, and overall function of the system, and the tradeoffs among design, package, function, and customer experience involved with these systems. * Must have relevant experience in AL-PL layout, Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various parts. * Knowledge in Sheet metal design, Tooling & manufacturing processes. * Must have knowledge of relevant Regulations & Homologation requirement. * Good Knowledge and hands-on experience of GD&T for CAD model and drawings. * Knowledge in WERS, GPDS & DPA 0/1 assessments in E2KS * Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD * Ensures the compliance of the design with all BIW and vehicle attributes, technical and structural requirements, quality objectives, program milestones, deliverables and specific targets, subsystem technical specifications, cost, weight, timing and regulatory requirements (1.) To perform client requirement analysis (2.) To perform quality process compliance for adherence to defined standards (3.) To do high level design and document it. (4.) Vendor interactions, manufacturability studies, testing and simulation (5.) Mentor team members, resolve technical queries
