Broadcom Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, discuss, code, test, and implement new features

• Work closely with peers and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to curate great design

• Listen to customers, understand their needs, and represent them in delivering Arcot product roadmaps

• Propose methods and process improvement to increase developer velocity

This job requires expert level hands-on experience with Go Lang programming.

The candidate must be able to start from scratch and be able to work independently. Should have the ability to understand the consequences of good design vs bad design and should be able to foresee what can go wrong when the systems are put in to production.

A successful candidate should be able demonstrate the fundamentals of software engineering and good coding practices.

Need proficiency in:

• Golang – Expert Level Required C++ – Experience Python – Good to have Linux – Strong skills System Administration

• CI/CD tools and philosophy (Jenkins)

• Real-time scoring engines for mission critical applications

• SaaS

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 12+ years related work experience.
